The Smiles Day Committee and Rushville-Industry Marching Band invite you to join us for the annual Smiles Day Parade on Friday, September 11th at 10:30 AM in Rushville.
The Competition guidelines are as follows:
1. All high school bands entered in the parade will be judged in the areas of marching, showmanship, and musicianship. As host bands, the Rushville-Industry High School and Middle School bands will not be part of the competition.
2. All bands should report to the staging area at the Schuyler County Fair Grounds no later than 9:30 AM. (The fairgrounds are located one block east of the High School.)
3. After the parade, we invite all bands to attend the awards ceremony which will take place at approximately 12:45 pm. We hope that all participating bands will have their drum major(s) in uniform and present to accept the awards. Please indicate on the entry form if you intend to stay for the ceremony. As in years past, those not present for the ceremony will receive their marching awards via mail, and ALL judging results will be sent to your school.
